There are also 3 channels of an amp called "Attitude".. it wasn't there in 4.0 wasn't it? Anybody knows what it is supposed to be? I don't know if it is placebo effect but it sounds smoother when direct.

Yeah I noticed the attitude amp. Wasn't sure if it was a little surprise for being so patient. I really hope it sounds smoother direct. It will get a good chance at my gig on Friday. Did it sound smoother after changing much?

waiting for almost one year for two added amp (only for channel 1), "migliorizer" (apart from this sensational name it is just a delay and a vintage echo, impossible to use with another delay in the same preset) and DI option?......very very poor upgrade. I'm really sad about this. The boost is a good idea and do the job very well. One year, two amp, two FX and some DI option.....mah.

Yes, i'm a bit disappointed too, the citrus 120 amp doesn't sound very well... and on only one channel... My Digitech RP1000 had a better Orange 120 simulation... A good point for the expression pedal support, but i was hopping some different wah-wah simulations (crybaby, vox, clyde...) and not a simple re-use of the auto-wah effect... Still no big muff pedal sim. I don't understand the "DI level" option, such a thing can be controlled on the mixer directly. I think they didn't work on the firmware all over the year but only the last monthes... I only hope that what Marco announced a few weeks ago about a rhythm of 3 monthes delay between each release, was true...

everyone seems so happy with this new firmware, so probably the problem was mine Orange 120 sim is almost unusable and harsh, very enanched mid frequencies, matchless is very dark but with bosst you can bright it, but very far to the Vox AC 30 kind of amp it is supposed to be (I think Matchless 30 is a similar VOX-kind amp but i didn't owned one, just watched in a youtube test), Migliorizer add some stereophonic quality to the sound but i think random pattern delay repetition ar "invasive" in a normal sound. The Darkface problem present only (I think) in the mono MULTIAMP version (mine), when you store a preset using darkface a lot of high frequencies were added, was not fixed and so is useless, and in my opinion that is one of the most beatiful simulation of the CH1 clean amp . I'm a live user of the MULTIAMP direct into an Orange 2 x 12 Vintage Celestion Cab, so i don't know how good are all the new DI features or cab or mic new option , i use a normal MIDI pedalboard so continuos control aren't tested by me, but i think these are probably the most valuable improvement of this Firmware. For the new added amp side (Orange is one of my all time favorite amp especially the AD30 and the Terror series) and the FX side, I'm very disappointed, Attitude is the same as Amplitude (the most awful amp present in MULTIAMP in my opinion, to me is impossible to use in every kind of music, very very dark even with warmer set to zero) and we're waiting for almost one year from the last update......I don't understand all this enthusiastic comment about this new 5.0 update, but am I one of the really few "stand out of the crowd" that hoped a lot more in almost 12 monthes of waiting? ??

To be honest I don't really see many enthusiastic comments around. I guess the fact that DV Mark is not a software house is really showing, this was a very minor update and really nothing compared to what other modelers on the market get at every iteration. Even the way everything is communicated leaves a lot to be desired.. 5-6 lines on an image and that's about it. There are amps (this ugly sounding attitude thing) that show up but nobody knows what it is... there is no mention of improvements in the old amp models, IR, mics.. nothing, really disappointing actually.

se sei italiano te lo dico in gergo bolognese: vecchio, su Facebook sono tutti li a spendersi come se fosse l'upgrade del secolo quando per me è quasi imbarazzante come aggiornamento ahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahah, soprattutto considerando le potenzialità paurose del prodotto!!! in a very cheap english translation: find in this forum or FB user pages something critical or disappointing about this new firmware...........if you find one, knock on my door, because I didn't understand if I'm mad or someone else think the same about this!!!!!!!!!!! One year for two amp in clean channel, two FX (migliorizer is an autentical joke, I' ve belived it was an EQ to be used for progressive amp simulaton or something similar) and some DI or cabinet improvement/new features.........this is a real (potential) outstanding machines but with this support/updating "behavior".........no way man, this is the beginning of the end, even if no one say this obvious truth!!!!!!!!!!
