In a prior post, I had requested assistance in obtaining a "warm jazz tone" from my MULTIAMP. Several users, to whom I am grateful—attempted to assist with suggestions for achieving that end. I have, however, yet to arrive at nirvana. I even went so far as to purchase a Fender clone to that end, but it simply proved that old technology was not the answer.
I have been patiently awaiting the promised firmware update for the MULTIAMP, with the hope that it would offer a solution for my quest, but the update appears to be somewhat vaporous in nature. While the competing devices' developers constantly provide improvements and additions in the form of updates, we MULTIAMP users are left close to the starting line, leaving me with an uneasy feeling regarding the future of this unit. So, with that in mind, I feel that it is time for me to move on to another device and place my MULTIAMP on the auction block. I have already made purchase of the alternate equipment, but since this is the DV Mark forum I will avoid mentioning the name of its manufacturer. If anyone is interested in a pristine, stereo MULTIAMP that has never left the confines of my home studio, email me—scrittore@bellsouth.net—for further information.
See entry on this forum's for sale page.

There's no problem talking about other devices. Obviously most of us love the MULTIAMP tones but that doesn't mean it should suit everyone and this isn't an ad page for DV mark. If you haven't found your tone yet maybe you need something with more options or different amp sims.
Personally as a metal player I was lucky to get sims that I love right out of the box (heavy 51, ecstasy). When it comes to updates and stuff, for sure DV mark has been a bit slow and I think they launched the MA a bit too soon, especially since the online support is so lacking (little info, no official forum ...)
What did you go for ? Fractal ? How's that working for you ?

In response to your question, I have purchased a Kemper Power Head. I had considered the Axe-Fx II XL as well, but its lack of availability and alleged complex nature—I have neither the ambition nor the time to fiddle with its various settings—removed it from my short list of choices. It's too early to comment on the Kemper. And despite its first glance relative simplicity, the manuals are replete with information regarding the numerous adjustable parameters. That said, it has a trove of really usable tones straight out of the box.
Addendum: I have only put a few hours into the Kemper Power Head at this point, but from my limited experience all I can say is WOW! The clean tones are warm and round, and really do bring forth the essence of various tube amps. The reverbs are wonderful and airy. I have not and probably will not delve into the overdriven tones since I am a Jazzist, but I suspect them to be equally as astounding. One other thing I might mention: The Kemper comes with a real manual. However, I had a question that the manual did not address. This morning, I sent off an email to the German Manufacturer and received a detailed reply less than 20 minutes later. No way can you beat that customer support. Oh, one other thing, I just downloaded and installed one of their many firmware updates.
