My MULTIAMP came with V3.0 so I don't need to update it yet. However I just wanted to make sure the SD card slot works so I downloaded the files to an SDHC Card anyway. When I hit Firmware update it says Card Not Present. I'm new to the world of SD Cards and Firmware updates. But its not a foreign idea for me. Seems pretty cut and dry. However I'm wondering if it's not reading the card means there's something wrong with the SD slot. Is it because I'm using an SDHC Card and not a regular SD Card? It has an adapter that fits so it should at least acknowledge that the Card is present, no? Is it because I already have V3.0 and this is the message you get? Anyone know?

32GB. Is that the problem? Yep I think so, I think they mention it in the owner's manual. Buy a cheap 8GB or less, It's enough for MA, the presets are very small files. |

Yeah the MULTIAMP can't read SDHC...
At least i think and 8 GB sd card it can read, i don't think it's able to read a 16GB one...
Anyway as shapfuh said, you can buy even on ebay a 2 gb for few euros...
Presets weight around few kilobytes, and updates are not much bigger...

I seem to have the same problem with my Markbass MULTIAMP. I tried a 4 GB and an 8 GB SDHC card and have no luck so far.

Mine is a SDHC and it's ok. The most important is to format the SD card to FAT32 !

I've tried 6 sd cards now, one of 8 GB, 5 of 4 GB, all formatted to FAT32. Still no luck, Card not present. It's getting a little frustrating. I'll try formatting it on another computer but I don't know what else I can possibly do except for concluding that there's something wrong with the amp.

Formatted the card in another computer and it seems to be detecting the card... I clearly still have to get used to having a computer for an amp instead of the regular thing.

First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to ask iif you ddo not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
