Hello,
I am having someone build me speaker cabinets. I was originally going to have a 2x12 built, but have decided to go for 2 1x12 cabs instead. Because of this, they will each have a 16 ohm load. That will be fine for my tube amps, but I want to make sure it's ok for the MULTIAMP. The specs discuss 8 or 4 ohm loads but mention nothing about a 16 ohm load. Does anyone use 16 ohm speakers in stereo? I don't want to do anything that may inadvertently damage the amp. Thanks in advance!

I use my Engl E412SS-BK in stereo mode (2x16 ohm) with my MA and it's doing fine. Most of the 4x12 on the market are the same including the dv mark neoclassic so I guess It's supposed to go well with the MA ^^

Thanks. I also got an email from Riccardo saying that it would be ok. The amp will work fine but will not be as loud. That's fine by me. I should be ok with the lower volume. I'll know for sure after I get the cabinets and play through them with my band.
Thanks again for writing.

Its solid state amp, so with a 16 ohms you'll only loose power.
