Loving the MULTIAMP however I feel the tone could and can be better. I have downloaded presets from demos such as Marco Sfogli and the tone just isn't really the same. I am a fairly competent and experienced player, I'm not just a novice who expects an amazing tone by being a crap player!
I have the MULTIAMP with an XLR/Jack. The XLR goes from the right output of the MULTIAMP, the jack goes to the left input of the Scarlett 2i2 and it plays through my monitors.
When I record it feels like the tone is just not quite there like I've not set it up optimally.. any tips on how you guys have done it.
This is using the cab simulator only!

I've only played mine through the DV Mark speaker cabinets and it sounds fantastic. Loved the cleans from day one, struggled to get a good crunch tone until Riccardo suggested using eq in one of the slots and it brought it to life Have you tweaked the cabs sims and mics in the MA ??

I'm currently having the same problem.
Hopefully the new update will bring some improvement. At my next gig I'm going to use a DI box with a cab simulation on and see if that helps in the short-term.

Thanks for the replies, I've played around quite a bit yea! I have decent tones with my headphones on, it sounds damn good! I think it comes down to my lack of recording experience, not sure how to sit it properly in the mix and things.

Good to hear Ainsley.
I used a cab with mine at our gig at The Queen Vic recently. Sounded great!
The sound I get when going direct to PA compared to my headphones is so different it's hardly recognisable. From what I've heard their should be an improvement in the cab sims with the next FW update.
