Hi Guys, My name is Ainsley and I'm a MULTIAMP user I was a bit disappointed there was no forum for this brilliant product, nowhere for existing users to share stories or gain information. Fractal and Kemper have them for their products and there is a wealth of information and a huge volume of traffic. So I've started this one and hopefully this will grow and develop into something useful and worthwhile. If DV Mark in the meantime develop one then this may close, i know they have been looking into it and how best to run it. I will see if I can get them onboard here too in the meantime. Post post post away and enjoy your time here. Ainsley Admin.

Cheers mate I've got approval off Riccardo too from DV Mark, hopefully he'll pop along soon but is real busy. DV Mark realise they need a forum and are working out how best to provide and run it. Hopefully this place can bridge a gap and fingers crossed we can get some more members !!

Hi, I posted here a few time and I haven't introduced myself yet.
I'm a recent MULTIAMP stereo user from France, playing on a vigier excalibur indus, and playing in a death metal band called NahBoM. I was searching for a less complex alternative to the axe-fx (which is atrociously expensive here in europe:/) whithout making any compromise on sound quality and I must say that I've been pretty amazed by the MULTIAMP so far. You really get the feeling that your are playing on a real tube amplifier, both in sound and response. (mine was bought "second hand" and already had firware 3.0 installed)
Thank you for creating this place. The only downfall with the MULTIAMP is that there's very little information about it gear and I hope this place will help us all in our use of this fine piece of gear.

Welcome aboard and thanks for posting. Yes I Google every week and still can't find much info on this fine product and I fear it is doing DV Mark more harm than good. Loads of info on the Axe FX and Kemper but nothing on the MULTIAMP. If DV Mark want to stay in the game and shift plenty of units then they really have to push this.

I check google and see any new reviews or chat has sprung up but there always very little if none. This forum is the biggest thing to happen to the units since the upgrade. I think it comes down to DV mark not having the fan base that Kemper and Fractal have. To honest I prefer being part of a small group that have great taste in gear. The fanboy mentality of the AXE and Kemper gets on my nerves.

Don't forget that fractal audio is a lot older on this market. They were actually the first to really archieve a high end/pro quality amp simulation device so it's pretty logical they have more followers. The kemper technology of amp profiling was also brand new at the time so that's why they got quite some attention but then again it's still a niche of tech savvy ppl that get interested and buy those kind of gear.
On top of that, DV mark is still relatively new to the modeling market and the guitar amplification market in general, they're not as established as markbass.
I think the popularity of an audio device like that mostly come down to how many well known pros use it. The axe-fx really exploded when all the new wave of US and canadian progressive metal bands started using and some other stars like Steve Vai made elogious comments about it.
That being said, I wish DV mark all the best because I think the build great stuff but I won't care that much if the MULTIAMP sells like pancakes or if it's success is moderate. As long as it sounds good, fulfill my amplification needs and DV keeps updating it I'm fine. It might even preserve us users from that fanboy mentality you sometime see on others forums/sites. Some guys are to their gear what hooligans are to their soccer teams ...
