Looking for some advice or opinions...
When playing live i use a MULTIAMP Mono direct to the F.O.H. I'm finding that tone is sounding too processed and a little harsh. It sounds decent through the speaker I use for my monitor. I use the the same settings into a cab when at rehearsals and I have no issue with the sound. Could the issue be the voicing of the F.O.H speakers?

What about tweaking the EQ or cab sims, mics etc ??

Tweaking would help and also you could try Warmer effect, but I don't know if that helps. I have thought the same thing, the voicing of F.O.H. speakers. More expensive/high quality, better sounding?

I've tried tweaking EQ and cab sims.
The trouble I have is I don't have PA available to play with in my own time. It's normally under pressure at a gig.
To be honest it's has at points not sounded like a guitar.
Hopefully the new FW update will correct this.

Hello, may i ask you how do you plug your MA into the mixer ? I use a XLR / jack TRS cable, i connect the XLR output of the MULTIAMP and plug the jack part into the mixer (line input). If you use a XLR/XLR cable and plug it into a XLR input on the mixer, the sound will not be good because generally these inputs are for mics. And you can also look at your mixer if there is no compressor enabled on your track (it happened to me...) My 2 cents...

Thanks for that advice. That's exactly how I set it up XLR to XLR. I'll try it next gig.I've also bought a DI box with a cab simulation on to try out.

ok, so the DI will be usefull if you connect to the XLR input of the mixer, but if you plug into a line input, you don't need it. Oh and don't forget if you choose the line input, the cable must be XLR/ jack TRS. With a simple jack (no TRS), you may encounter noise. XLR = TRS I have seen so many wrong cables...
