Do you know the real name of each amp emulation ? For some it's pretty obvious but I can't figure them all.

To me they sound nothing like them in a way the Axe FX and Kemper do I think of the MULTIAMP more as a three channel preamp and get my own sounds.

Hard to tell for me because I've never owned anyone of them. As long as it sounds right for me I don't really care how close is it to the original. For instance the other guitarist in my band play on an EVH 5150III and I like my MULTIAMP 5150 emulation better.

Yeah. I like mine but am still keeping my tube amps for now, one of which is a Mark V. After I do some gigs with it, then I may let the tube amps go.

How much close to you undertyrat the progressive amp to the original MK V? That amp is one my favorite ever (or probably my favorite), and i'd love to know how close is to it... Unfortunately the simulation of the MK V doesn't has got the parametric EQ and the Bright mode, or MK 2 C+ mode or Mk IV mode.... Hope guys from DV mark will solve this problem in the future!

I think you've already answered your question. FWIW, I did manage to tweak the MULTIAMP so that it was pretty close using the Bogner sim and adding some eq.. I want to be clear about that. It sounded close to my settings on the Mark V. But we both know that the Mark V has the 1, 2c+, 4, and 5 sounds. It also has the parametric eq. The MULTIAMP doesn't have that. Also, I have not fooled around with the progressive amp model, which, I believe, is an emulation of the Mk V.
I am only a novice when it comes to eq but my settings combined with the extacy sim got me very close. I had the amps side by side going into the same speaker. I have 2 Bag End speakers and used one for each amp. Look at the graphic for my name and you can see the settings. Hope it helps!
One more thing... I mainly use my MULTIAMP at home. I have never gigged with it but have taken it out for auditions and to jam. So far so good, but I still have reservations about taking a computer to a gig. I'll get over that eventually. I don't look at the MULTIAMP as a box of amps either. I just get the sounds I want and go with it. I'm not necessarily trying to emulate anything.
Let me know how it sounds. Try my eq settings. They worked for me. Good luck!

Thank you! Well i have used a lot the progressive but i still can't get close to the sound i want, i mean i have made 4-5 patches that i love with that amp, but i hope they will put the parametric EQ and the other 3 modes in the next updates...I think that amp needs it... Anyway it does sounds great!!!

Cool. Try using the extacy sim with the eq. I think I had mine for a loose contour (or whatever it's called) and the bright 1 with the plexi mode off. Try that and out the eq after the amp before any effects. Let me know how it works for you.
Also, I wouldn't try to get every possible sound from the Mark V out of the MULTIAMP. You'll drive yourself crazy. The Mark has so much versatility, and so does the MULTIAMP. Just go with what you like and what works well in a live situation. If it works for you, your band, and the audience, then you're in good shape.
Good luck and let me know how it works out.

Can someone tell me what amps the JCMark and Gun50 models are supposed to replicate?
Thanks
