Hi, I have a pre 2015 version as well. Was struggling with the master volume between settings, but found the solution and it is very simple! Just go to System, then select Config and there you'll find Master. Here you have a choice "manual". If you select this, the master volume will apply to all you settings. It will "overwrite" the stored volume. Hope this helps :-)
