I think it would be a good idea to collect all the useful mutiamp tips (that aren't mentioned in the manual) in the same thread.
I'll start with one (already mentioned in an other thread) : if you want to quickly save/update an existing patch without having to rename it, simply hold the "store" button. You will see "storing ..." displayed on the screen and your preset will be saved.
Feel free to contribute.

Great idea mr shapfuh So here's another important tip: Amps like the bogner XTC in channel 3 does not sounds shit, you just have to deal with two/three more options, to do that open a patch with that amp, go on the amp slot and press the "Enter" button and you'll find many other options (for te XTC there's a boost, a plexi mode, a structure mode, and 3 different pre-eq settings and 3 different damping settings) Other amp that have got this "feature" are: DV mark triple 6, and the mesa recto

This small bug will probably be solved with the next patch but anyway :
If you get a blank screen when you turn on your unit after using the MA remote control, simply unplug the USB cable and reboot your MULTIAMP.

How to play at "ultrabedroom level" with a stereo MULTIAMP plugged in mono in a single cab :
Put the MA in stereo mode ! It will divide the output power. Sounds silly but it's very convenient when you're playing late in an appartement as the 500w is such a juggernaut that even the master 8 o'clock position is already too much.

For those using the MA midi pedalboard and wondering why some presets have all slots turned off when recalled via pedalboard here is the solution (from Riccardo Damiani) :
· Recall the preset
· Go to C/C mode on the pedalboard pressing in hold switch #1
· Turn on/off the effect on the pedalboard as for your desidered setting (to turn them all off or on use footswitch 5 aka CC0)
· Press OK on the pedalboard to store that setting for that preset

Hello! I searched MA around the Internet and found one discussion where some user told this:
"One thing that's really important, and not in the manual (and which made a big difference to me): if you are playing through a cabinet, you (normally) don't use the cabinet emulation block, but even with the cabinet block inactive, the parameters "Respire", HPF and LPF inside the cabinet block can still be used (they remain active) and I really need to set these with my Marshall cabinet. They really should have put that in the manual. So if you're trying the MULTIAMP in a store through a cabinet, you should try it with and without these parameters active in the cab block."
I didn't know of this at all, has anyone noticed or tried this, is that correct?

Hey ceccez, sorry for the delay but it's been a while since i've last login to this forum...This community it's getting a bit dead :/
Anyway, i tried to do what you said, i've got a 4x12 marshall cabinet and i think that it doesn't work, i mean i noticed that even if the cab block is bypassed and you change some parameters like HPF, LPF, type of cabinet etc. you can hear a little "space" between the sound, with space i mean that there's a little pause, a little break but the sound doesn't change (at least to my ear). I also tried to do the same thing (changing HPF, type of cabinet etc.) with the cab block activated (obviously by playing through my marshall) and then you can hear bigger differences that the ones you can hear when the cab block is bypassed ( differences that, as i said before, are totally absent when the cab is bypassed). By the way i'm using firmware 4.0, maybe with the firmware 3.0 the sound changed, i don't know...

If it's written "unactive" you expect it to be really unactive !!! and this explains a bunch of things.... will try if it has effect tonight !

Weird, I wonder if it's a bug or if this was intended by the DV mark engineers ...
