Hi guys i'm thinking of buying a MULTIAMP mono because i dont need the stereo poweramp and its also cheaper but does it have enough power to get decent clean headroom to cut through a band in rehearsal rooms and stages through a 1x12 cab and what kind of cab do you suggest (ohm/watt) I dont play metal mostly blues/rock/funk/jazz how does it compare to a 50 watt tube amp I think that would be plenty power/volume for me..

Hi, I actually had the same thought before buying my MULTIAMP mono so i asked to guys from DV mark and they helped me a lot. Anyway this machine even though it's very powerful, it's a great bedroom amp, you can low down the volume whitout losing dynamic/sound quality etc. , even though i think it's better at higher levels of volume i think that if you play at low volumes you'll still get AMAZING tones out of it (and trust me, i'm a "bedroom guitar player"). If you crank up the volume knobs you'll get enough power to play even in an arena so not worry about it...

I've got the stereo and believe me it's plenty loud with loads of headroom, and I've gigged mine. Also was using it with both one or two small DV Mark 1x12's and it blasts, never had the volume higher than 12 o'clock.

Yes I know the stereo version is really loud especially on the 500 watt mono bridged mode at 8 Ohm.. But the mono version has only 150 watt at 8 Ohm and 250 Watt at 4 Ohm so i'm wondering how you connect your MULTIAMPs to your cabs when your playing loud on stage or in rehearsal does the mono do the job or should I just get the stereo version for more power I dont play metal but i need a good loud clean sound to cut through on stage..far

I actually think that even though you don't play high-gain stuff, the mono version is more than enough; i mean: i don't know if you play in arenas, but i think that 150 Watt are more than enough to perform in any place...

Alright and how do you connect the 1x12with your MA stereo with the 150 watt 8Ohm output or the 500watt 8 Ohm bridged mode output..?

Nope just speaker out to cab, never used the bridge output.

I actually use a Marshall JCM 2000 4x12, but i think the cabinet size doesn't matter that much...Even with a 2x12 you'll get awesome results in terms of power.
