Using MULTIAMP as Power Amp

It seems to me that I have read how to do this somewhere before in this forum, but if I have, I can't find it now.  I have an external preamp, and I'd like to connect it to the MA and use the MA strictly as a power amp.  (Note that I am very happy with the MA preamp, just curious to try it, or to enable demoing the external preamp in case I want to sell it.)  What would be the best way to hook this up?
