Trouble with MULTIAMP remote control SW

Hello all

I am not able to use the MULTIAMP remote control software.

It always says : MULTIAMP not found.

I asked Riccardo (DV Mark support) and he refers to a missing jumper inside the MULTIAMP.

So, I checked on my device but the jumper is present.

I tested using 2 different USB A/A cables on 2 different computers, one with Win10 another with Win7.

Always the same result: MULTIAMP not found.

I asked again Riccardo but no answer yet.

Does anyone have a clue on what may go wrong?

I have had the same problem the last year, and I resolved with the "jumper" as well as Riccardo suggested.

Issue solved ! :-)

I reopen the MULTIAMP once more to check again this famous jumper.
This time I removed it (not easy coz it was glued) and I put it back on.
Just exactly where it was before.

Magically, the software now finds the MULTIAMP!

Actually, I still do not understand what the issue was.
The fact is : now USB is working.

Just for your information disconnect the USB cable every time you turn on the MULTIAMP (with the computer on), in order to avoid to have the blu screen on the MULTIAMP.

I also noticed that MULTIAMP is sometime hanging when the cable is connected without the software running.

yes, before you must start the MULTIAMP and after connect the USB cable.

I know its an old threat, but tell me more about the jumper.

I have recently got a MULTIAMP Stereo. Great device! But after installing the Remote control SW, I experienced the same problem than Baz: MULTIAMP not found. I see indeed some jumpers (such as CN3-CN4) which are open. Does anybody know which jumper(s) has to be closed iot enable the USB port ?
