Any way to update a patch without loosing its name ?

I spoke with Ricardo from DV Mark a few weeks ago about the manual issue and he said that they are working on having an area on their site to get many of our questions answered that are not covered in the manual. Of Course, if you had it in the manual in the first place you wouldn't need a resource area but at least they recognize the issue and are working on something to address it. In the meantime, he said to contact him directly with any questions so as a new MULTIAMP owner (about a month now) I have taken him up on that several times. That's how I found out about how to save a patch to the same place. Seems like something so basic would have been mentioned in a manual but the issue with the manual is really a moot point. Everyone including DV Mark knows its extremely limited.
