Anyone using midi c/c commands to control their MULTIAMP ?? any tips ? guides ?
I have mine set at various patches, the easy way but now I'm thinking it would function better with c/c commands and effects on/off etc ?
Anyone ?

No I just use a midi moose to switch patches. I may take that plunge if I decide to sell the tube amps, etc. I like everything simple, so it works for me now.

I'm finding I'm only really using two amps but with different variations. So I have a great clean, wet clean, crunch, louder crunch as a solo boost, then I have the same clean and dirty patches with different fx on. So now I am thinking I'd be better off with the four amp patches then effects on and off on the other buttons of my Peak midi controller.

I'm using a PEAK FCB8N with my MULTIAMP, i'm thinking I'd like to have the first four switches as amps, then the other eight as fx on and off. A guy off FB and some Guitar group I'm part of suggested this ... Ainsley, the 4 pr mode sounds perfect. You need to have firmware v3 on your MULTIAMP. Do a factory restore on the Peak which will choose MIDI Channel 1 as your default , note that Channel 1 is referred to as zero on your MULTIAMP. Now you have a decision, both your controller and your amp are clever, so P1 on your controller can be programmed to send any PC command, or your amp can select any preset when you send it a PC command. Personally, I would use the mapping function in the MULTIAMP to assign your presets to the switches on the controller - 1. the amp is probably at a better height to work with and 2. I and guessing you can back up the MULTIAMP to the SD card. Then you need to assign the C1-C8 switches to Slots 1-8 on your MULTIAMP. I can't see what the default values are in the Peak, but again the MULTIAMP has a map to assign incoming CC to the Slots. Lastly, you can assign the exp port on the Peak to CC 27 for a volume pedal. I'll try and make sense of all of this at the weekedn hahaha

MULTIAMP Hi Adey, the MULTIAMP is compatible with about all the MIDI pedalboards onn the market, anyway we're working on a dedicated MIDI pedalboard for MULTIAMP/Bass MULTIAMP and we expect to have it ready by the end of next month... stay tuned!!!

Yeah be interesting to see what features it has ? probably more than a standard midi board I'd imagine, maybe built in expression pedals etc ? My PEAK controller is ok, I just have no idea how to set it up like i want it

Hello,
I am using the MULTIAMP with the brand new G-Lab GSC-4. I have setup a MIDI Device for it, and as it is able to send program changes and 20 Control changes at the same time, I am using these possibilities to emulate what I usually do on my live pedalboard, IE : I have the main sound programmed in the 3/4 first slots of the Mutiamp, including Amp, pedals infront of the amp, EQ and noise suppresor if needed. - the 4 next slots are non-mandatory effects that can be combined, turned off or on depending on the context. I Have my main sound programmed with these effects turned off, then I'll use CC to turn them on when I need it. Therefore, I only use two presets to control all my sounds : one is based on a clean channel amp(plus reverb all the time, tremolo is optionnal), the other based on the thordenthal preset, with two added EQ i can turn on for solos (I need 2 different ones) plus reverb ,turned on on solos.

ho, and to use CC and PC it is really easy and convenient : on the firmware V3.0 you can adjust which CC number will turn off/on which slot. Be warned though : the CC are labelled from 0 to 7, 0 controls first slot, etc.
