Are there any news on a firmware update? I would very much like to see improved amps and impulses, and te ability to add custom IRs. Also having more band to control with the parametric EQ. I'm using two blocks of Parametric EQ, one at the beginning of the chain and one after the amp block. The one after the amp has really helped me to cut some frequencies to get a richer and more organic sound. It makes a lot of difference.
I would really like to see more feedback from DV Mark to know if they are working on a release. I think that is very important to MULTIAMP users.
My wishes for the next realease:
- Improve even more the quality of amps sims and poweramp. (I prefer to have a unit that has few amps and cabs but that sound excellent, rather than having many decent ones) - 4 band (or 6) parametric EQ to control more bands without having to add more blocks - Improve quality of cabinet impulses and add option to load custom IRs. - Whah pedal function will be much appreciated.

I second you on most points. My huge let down of the firmware 4.0 is the way they manage MIDI now. It was perfectly logical to use midi controls so as to turn on and off slots, whatever effect was loaded in it (and you could have multiple occurences of one effect) rather than switch on and off one type of effect, which is maybe not even loaded in a slot... totally illogical in my opinion. The way it was implemented before let you use the MULTIAMP as a "virtual" pedalboard, it's not the case anymore.

That parametric EQ, 6 (or 4) band, would be so nice. The more I play with MA, the more I could use it. And it would be awesome to have both global and block type EQ, or whatever they invent.. And I also agree that the possibility to use own IRs would be great.

Would be great if DV Mark announces something this year - but it seems that they are focused on some new products at the moment...
If I had to choose 4 Features added that would be:
- Wah Wah (Pedal Control) - Seperate EQ for XLR Outs (for examble in the Cab Menu) - Custom IRs (Loadable via SD Card) - Intelligent / Harmonizer
Does anybody already got any information directly from DV Mark about the future of the MULTIAMP?

I asked January 10th from Riccardo, and he answered: "Our Tech Dept. is working on new update but release date is not fixed yet." I'm crying because they are so careless.. ?

you can read "Our Tech Dept. is working on new update but release date is not fixed yet" as "we don't give a f..." ;-) MULTIAMP is as beautiful as not promoted, so they don' t care about maintenance. Think about Line 6 and Fractal Audio for what means promotion and constant upgrading. If you sell one million pieces or one hundred.....it change everything in customer care and the gap between income and cost of development. I's an (awful) economy law.

Hmm I disagree! Nowadays, espacially with Modeling / Digital Devices (not only in the musical department), poeple always demand new updates and features and in most cases don't want to pay for them. It is good to hear that DV Mark is working on a new update - because the only thing they "promised" was, that they will continue working on new updates. You can't compare Line6 (which now belongs to Yamaha) to a small company like DV Mark. You should buy a product that you like - and not a product that should work for you if feature a, b and c will be added somewhere in the future. Anyway it would be great if DV Mark improve their communication and flow of information. Btw: New DV Mark Website up

Agreed: All ongoing development activities have to be priced into a product. The more units sold the more support and after sales service is possible. Ongoing development affecting and enhancing core functionalities of an existing product base in the field is pretty new for the guitar amp business, a real tube amp was a tube amp, no upgrades for free Keeping that in mind I appreciate any update for my MULTIAMP but don't expect too much. On the other hand I agree that communication from DV-M could be improved and turned into positive marketing for free. Best wishes

I agree that any update is appreciated.
My main issue is the lack of information out there. There's obviously artist presets etc that are a bonus, I'd much rather see video tutorials etc of artists building their presets.

Support actually depends not that much on the size of a company. I mean it does, obviously bigger ones are more likely to give more updates, but even a small company can give a big support and, if you look at guys at fractal, they're probably not much more than the guys at dv mark. I don't want to criticise DV Mark too much, it's a great company and the MULTIAMP has some incredible features; but an update, even once in a while, even if it just add 2 effects or corrects something little might help a lot and make the MULTIAMP thing more "lively".

Don't know much about Fractal Audio but Line 6 is great at marketing but god awful at customer support. I mean they didn't even bother to release a driver for windows 8 and 10 for their old UX audio interface. Some customer did the update and tadaaa ! audio interface not working anymore, they had to downgrade to 7 or get a new interface.

Mr Riccardo Damiani said on Facebook that there's a new update coming soon, even though he said there's no official date to release it.
